You may not be able to readily up and book a trip to Italy, but I am here to tell you, you CAN bring a little taste of Tuscany to your kitchen. This series that will span over the next 4 weeks will bring you crockpot recipes featuring chicken breast! These are super easy and all under 5 ingredients; it’s a win-win. Ingredients and Equipment Prep
Whether you have a crockpot or will be using an Instant Pot, set it on low-heat setting. (For quicker and easier clean up, use a crockpot liner!)
Set out your measuring utensils ahead of time so you aren’t scrambling around.

Tuscany Chicken Ingredients List
4-6 frozen USDA grade chicken breasts
1/4 cup of unsalted, organic butter
2 cloves, diced raw garlic
3 fresh basil leaves, chopped
1/2 cup Alfredo sauce
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp thyme

Zucchini-Tomato Salad Ingredients
1/2 medium raw zucchini, chopped
1 small tomato, chopped
1/4 cup cucumber, chopped
1/8 cup of vinaigrette dressing
Crockpot Chicken Walkthrough
Step 1: Preheat crockpot to low-heat.
Step 2: Pour in half of the alfredo sauce to bottom of crockpot.
Step 3: Place in frozen chicken breasts.
Step 4: Pour in rest of alfredo sauce.
Step 5: Place in butter, garlic, and basil leaves.
Step 6: Cook 5-6 hours.
Step 7: Sprinkle seasonings: oregano and thyme.
Step 8: Easy stir to check the tenderness of the chicken.
Step 9: Let stand on warm heat 30 more minutes.
Chop and dice tomato, zucchini, and cucumber.
Pour vinaigrette dressing into a medium to large bowl.
Place in all chopped ingredients into dressing.
Allow to sit and soak up to 10 minutes.
Serve on the side.
